Lost in the midst of the craziness over the past several weeks have been various tweaks I've made to some of the fundraising pages. I figured I'd include them all in a single catch-all post:
- U.S. Senate: I've decided to go ahead and re-add Nebraska Independent candidates DAN OSBORN to the page after all. I still don't know exactly what the relationship is between him and the NE Democratic Party, but since the NE Dems still haven't endorsed a write-in candidate as they said they were going to and since Osborn's ActBlue account is still active, I can only conclude that he's the only viable challenger to incumbent Republican Deb Fischer.
- U.S. House: There have been several updates to this page recently: I've removed both Jared Golden and Marie Gluesenkamp Perez due to them both going way too far for my tastes in their opposition to President Biden remaining the Democratic presidential nominee (Golden even went so far as to suggest he might vote for Trump), but I've added a 2nd special case candidate (TX-38 nominee Melissa McDonough). With the Arizona primary out of the way, I've also swapped out the generic listing for AZ-01 for the actual nominee, Dr. Amish Shah.
- Statewide Executives: I've added a special case candidate: Tim Stringham, running for Maricopa County, AZ Recorder.
- Michigan Legislature: HD-68 candidate Tim Sneller passed away in mid-July and has been removed from the page.
- Colorado Legislature: Incumbent Jennifer Parenti (HD-19) announced that she is dropping out of her re-election bid and has been removed.
- Tennessee Legislature: With the TN primary having passed, I was able to fill in two TBD districts (HD-18, Bryan Goldberg, and HD-60, Shaundelle Brooks)
- Texas Legislature: I added Jonathan Gracia (HD-37) who I had somehow overlooked previously.
