With the 2025 general election coming up in just 3 days, we're now halfway through the 2025-2026 election cycle.
So far I've raised a stunning 4.4x as much for Democrats as I had at the same point 4 years ago...and 2.6x as much as I had at this point 2 years ago!
In October 2025 specifically, I raised nearly 3x as much as October 2021 and over 30% more than October 2023 (remember, that was a POTUS cycle).
In terms of category breakout, so far this cycle I've raised:
- U.S. Senate: $30,399 (5.8%)
- U.S. House: $118,926 (22.7%)
- State Legislative: $273,701 (52.3%)
- State Executives: $22,342 (4.3%)
- Courts: $39,200 (7.5%)
- State Dem Parties: $36,139 (6.9%)
- Local/Other: $2,941 (0.6%)*
*Note: I went back and moved executive offices like WI Education Superintendent and GA Public Service Commissioner over to the State Executive category.
I expect the pace to drop off somewhat as we get past the November 2025 election and enter the holiday season; after that, though, I'm assuming things will pick back up again as the Midterms start to ramp up.

As for social media engagement, nothing new under the sun: Every platform outperformed Twitter again in both visits and funds raised on a per-follower basis:
